Criteria for Change Maker Award

The Change Maker Awards celebrate individuals whose selfless efforts ripple across communities, embodying resilience, compassion, and vision. The recognition is designed not only to honor their contributions but also to inspire others to embrace community service as a pathway to sustainable change.

Nominees will be evaluated on the following dimensions:

Community Engagement    

  • Where is the nominee currently working or volunteering in the community sector?
  • How consistent and visible is their service within the community?
  • Does the changemaker have the potential to recruit or have access to individuals or groups of volunteers to participate in their cause or are they an entrepreneur?

Professional Development and Impact    

  • How would this honor enhance the nominee’s personal growth or strengthen services within their workplace/organization?

 

Scope of Work

  • What is the measurable impact of their work?
  • How many lives have been touched (e.g., numbers served, area covered, community reach)?

Initiative and Commitment    

  • What signs of initiative and leadership are evident?
  • What factors demonstrate the nominee’s consistency and long-term dedication?

Inspiration and Storytelling 

  • How extraordinary and inspiring is the nominee’s story?
  • How might their story motivate individuals, organizations, or communities?

Vision for the Future    

  • How extraordinary and inspiring is the nominee’s story?
