HLST Student Ambassador Application

A Health Studies Student Ambassador is a representative chosen to promote and advocate for the Health Studies Program and the institution as a whole. This role involves engaging with prospective students, current students, faculty, and the broader community to provide information, insights, and support related to the Health Studies Program and its benefits.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be a Health Studies Major.
Must be in good standing academically and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress standards as required by the HLST Program and ULM.
Have and maintain a minimum overall 2.75 GPA each term.
Effective written and oral English communication skills.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic both in and out of the classroom and on or off campus.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, creativity, humor and dedication.
Be able to participate in at least 1-2 events per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Engage with prospective and current students to answer questions, provide insights, and share personal experiences related to the Program.
Establishing a leadership role and presence on ULM campus.
Assist in organizing and participating in events, workshops, and informational sessions related to the Health Studies Program.
Attend networking events and represent the Program at conferences or community outreach activities.
Uphold ethical behavior and professionalism in all ambassador activities.

Overall, a Health Studies Student Ambassador plays a pivotal role in promoting the Health Studies Program and contributing to a positive educational environment. This role can also offer personal growth, networking opportunities, and a chance to make a meaningful impact within the academic community.
