HLST Student Ambassador Application
A Health Studies Student Ambassador is a representative chosen to promote and advocate for the Health Studies Program and the institution as a whole. This role involves engaging with prospective students, current students, faculty, and the broader community to provide information, insights, and support related to the Health Studies Program and its benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a Health Studies Major.
- Must be in good standing academically and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress standards as required by the HLST Program and ULM.
- Have and maintain a minimum overall 2.75 GPA each term.
- Effective written and oral English communication skills.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic both in and out of the classroom and on or off campus.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, creativity, humor and dedication.
- Be able to participate in at least 1-2 events per year.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with prospective and current students to answer questions, provide insights, and share personal experiences related to the Program.
- Establishing a leadership role and presence on ULM campus.
- Assist in organizing and participating in events, workshops, and informational sessions related to the Health Studies Program.
- Attend networking events and represent the Program at conferences or community outreach activities.
- Uphold ethical behavior and professionalism in all ambassador activities.
Overall, a Health Studies Student Ambassador plays a pivotal role in promoting the Health Studies Program and contributing to a positive educational environment. This role can also offer personal growth, networking opportunities, and a chance to make a meaningful impact within the academic community.
